On Tuesday evening the Spartanburg District Two Board of Trustees welcomed three new principals.

These three new administrators are Stephanie Blanton, Trent Hardee, and Andy Rogers.

Stephanie Blanton has been named the new principal of Cooley Springs-Fingerville Elementary School. After spending the last 11 years at Hendrix Elementary, including her last four years which were spent as assistant principal, she is excited for her new role.

"I am really excited to meet all of the teachers and to get to know everybody and their families," said Blanton.

Trent Hardee is the new principal at Rainbow Lake Middle School. He has been a Spartanburg local since 2004 and an assistant principal at RLMS for the last 4 years.

"I am very thrilled. It's a wonderful opportunity," Hardee said.

Andy Rogers was announced as the new principal at Boiling Springs Middle School. During his time at BSMS he took on many roles such as, math teacher, basketball coach, athletic director, and math instructional coach. Most recently, he was assistant principal at BSMS.

"As a product of District Two and BSMS and working here for the past 16 years, nothing could be a bigger honor than to serve our students and to serve this community I call home," Rogers said.

Each administrator will start their new role on July 1, 2018.
