Tree on House near Gilmore Road in Anderson County

A tree fell on a house near Gilmore Road in Anderson County, SC (FOX Carolina, July 12, 2021)

ANDERSON, SC (FOX Carolina)- Storms caused downed trees and power outages around the Upstate on Monday night. 

The South Carolina Highway Patrol incident map says that there were trees down on the following roads. 

  • Bethel Road
  • Woodruff Road
  • Cherry Street
  • Belton Highway
  • Easley Highway
  • Old Laurens Road

Anderson County Dispatch says that firefighters responded near Gilmer Road in Anderson, SC. Our crews went out there and found that a tree fell on a house during the storm.

Dispatch says right now they do not have any reports of injuries.

These storms are also caused widespread power outages. Almost 3000 Duke Energy customers were without power in Anderson, Pickens, Greenville and Laurens Counties.
