Union police are investigating after a man was stabbed Friday night.

Police said the stabbing happened after 11 p.m. at an address on Pint Street.

They arrived to find a 30-year-old man bleeding profusely from the neck and the back of his head.

The man told them he had been stabbed after being “jumped” by another man up the street. The victim was taken to the hospital.

Police said neighbors heard a commotion outside that involved two men and a woman but no one saw the stabbing take place.

The suspect has not yet been identified.MORE NEWS -Former NASCAR driver Rick Crawford charged with attempted enticement of a child
