Upstate sheriffs to meet with President Trump

Two sheriffs from the Upstate are set to meet President Trump at the White House on Thursday.

Cherokee County Sheriff Steve Mueller and Union County Sheriff David Taylor will be attending the meeting.

President Trump held the first meeting with sheriffs on Wednesday.

During the event, Trump praised the accomplishments of law enforcement across the country, saying "And really, we have to create guidelines and principles for the incredible job you've done. And you've done an amazing job."

The President also spoke highly of the work between law enforcement and his administration: "But we have, together, done something very special."
