Upstate parents share photos of their senior students set to graduate in 2020.
Blue Belles Seniors (pictured from left to right) Krishna Alexander – Krishna Alexander is a Senior at Paul M. Dorman High School. She serves in several leadership roles: Senior Class President 19-20 School Year, President of the Dorman High School Symphony, and Captain of the Dorman High School Blue Belles. She will graduation in the top 9% of her class and will attend University of SC in Columbia where she will major in Political Science. Claire Roberts – Claire is a 17 year old Senior at Dorman High. She is a 3rd year member of the Blue Belles, the Beta Club and the National Honors Society. She is also a violinist in the Dorman High School Symphony. After graduation, she will pursue an undergrad degree in Biology at Winthrop University. Grace Groke – Grace is a Senior at Paul M. Dorman High School where she serves at 1st Lieutenant of the Blue Belles Dance Team and is a member of the National Honor Society and Beta Club. She plans to attend Clemson University and try out for the Clemson Tiger Dancers. Taylor Parker – Taylor is a Senior at Dorman High School, where she was on the Blue Belles Dance Team for 2 years. After graduation, she will attend Presbyterian College and major in Pre-Med. Elly Guallpa – Elly is a Senior at Dorman High School and also a member of the Blue Belles Dance Team. She played the clarinet for 4 years and is also in the Beta Club. She plans to attend Columbia College and major in Business, so she can one day help her dad run his business before starting a business of her own. Eriyonia Fowler – Eriyonia is a Senior at Paul M. Dorman High School where she is currently the 2nd Lieutenant of the Blue Belles. She has a 4.0 GPA and will attend University of South Carolina to major in Psychology and Dance.
Cole Wyatt McAlister is graduating from Belton-Honea Path High School. Cole is the son of Amy Brock and Chad McAlister. We are so proud of the young man he has become. We look forward to seeing him graduate along with the rest of the Class of 2020. Go Bears!

This is my senior Ryan Spencer. Ryan is a senior at Woodmont High School. He enjoys fishing, playing the guitar, banjo and drums, spending time camping with his family and hanging out with friends. After graduating he will be attending Greenville Tech in the fall. I’m so proud of him, it’s been a long hard road for us all to get here, but he made it! This is Carson Strong of Hillcrest High in Simpsonville, class of 2020. Carson is Drum Captain for the marching band, first chair for the jazz band & plays drums on Sunday Mornings for First Baptist Simpsonville. He’s planning on going in to the Air Force.
Hi this is my sister Harlie Holt and her friend Ryan Mosley. They are both Seniors at JL Mann. They both are also in the special needs program. Ryan has been in JROTC for 4 years and Harlie for 3years. Ryan has been accepted into the Clemsonlife program for the fall. As for Harlie she said she will just stay home and aggravate me❤️. Harlie sets every morning for the 10am show and every day for the 4 and 5 o’clock show watching for her picture. I know she is not going off to college but she is still missing out on a lot that she enjoys special olympics, prom and who knows maybe graduation
My wonderful Senior is Jordon Cole Slaughter. He is graduating from South Carolina Virtual Charter School. He is a member of the National Honor Society, Beta Club, Rho Kappa, and National English Honor Society. He is a Crew Leader at McDonald's, where he has worked for the last three years. Sydney Grace Mccurry is the daughter of Kerry McCurry and Kimberly Broome. She is a Senior at Abbeville High School Member of FFA and Beta club. She has been playing high school softball since 7th grade...3 years JV and 3 years VARSITY And she has been on the AHS tennis team since the 8th grade. She is a singer and a talented artist. She has been singing most of her life. She was chosen to perform at Clay Page’s Southbound festival. She plans to attend Greenville Tech to become a Dental Hygienist.

Jade Smith will be a 2020 graduate from Daniel High School in Central, South Carolina. Despite the tragedy she experienced just a year ago. She has been through very difficult times. Jade says losing her best friend has opened her eyes to many things and motivated her to push harder and never give up no matter what. When Jade graduates she wants to do so in Honor of Larson Smith. We are all very proud of Jade and what she has overcome and all that shes accomplished but nobody is quite as proud as her mama....her #1 fan.

Mikaela Snead is a graduating senior at Mauldin High School. Mikaela has held the same job since she was 15. She works and keeps a good GPA she takes great pride in her grades. She has committed to Limestone College and is very excited about her future she hopes to eventually major in law. She is full of energy and personality. We are so proud of her.

I just want to recognize my senior that will be graduating from Hillcrest High School with the c/o 2020 this year. We are truly saddened that she is unable to enjoy her last days and events due to this pandemic. After graduating Sydney will be attending Winthrop College in Rock Hill, SC to pursue her dream of becoming a dermatologist.
