(Meredith) -- An arrest has been made for an assault on a New York City escalator.

The NYPD said they arrested Bradley K. Hill, 32, after he allegedly kicked a woman in the chest, causing her to fall down an escalator at a subway station on Friday, September 17.

Hill has been charged with assault and attempted assault.

The victim, a 32-year-old woman, said the incident was "traumatizing and scary" and left her with cuts and bruises.

The victim said Hill allegedly attacked her after she asked him to say "excuse me" after he bumped into her.
