Your FOX Carolina Local Forecast
Rain moves in today, with temperatures struggling to stay in the 50s for some! Better weather is on tap late week with sunshine and a warm-up.
Rain will be likely this afternoon and evening at times, but it won't be continuous. Temperatures this afternoon will range from the 40s to near 50 degrees in WNC to the 50s across the Upstate. Most of the rain clears tonight, but a few overnight snow showers are possible in the high elevations of the WNC mountains.
Wednesday will be cooler and a bit breezy! The mountains could see a lingering rain shower early, as well as a possible high elevation snow shower or two. Sunshine will emerge for everyone later in the day and highs will get back into the 60s for the Upstate and mid 50s in the mountains.
Sunshine continues Thursday and Friday with highs returning to the low and mid-70s toward the end of the week. Our next rain chance comes Sunday into Monday.
