Clemson releases statement after students raise concerns over freedom of speech
CLEMSON, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - Clemson University released a statement this week addressing a recent incident that happened during the school’s spring football game last Saturday.
The situation began earlier this week when the Clemson College Republicans shared a post on social media alleging that university officials violated their First Amendment rights by confronting them while they were promoting a candidate for Congress during the game.

After the organization posted the video, Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz announced that he was sending a letter to Clemson University President James Clements asking a series of questions about the situation.
