GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - Upstate Greenways and Trails Alliance (UGTA) has partnered with Greenville County to carve out a new biking trail called Rad Rabbit.

Matt Hudson-Flege, Executive Director for UGTA said that the trail runs parallel to the Swamp Rabbit near Pleasantburg Drive.

“It’s built to be a fun way for people of all ages to experience mountain biking for the first time,” Hudson-Flege said. “As well as for seasoned mountain bikers to test their skills on a centrally located trail.”

Additionally, Hudson-Flege said UGTA consulted Barbara Stone Foundation to ensure accessibility for adaptative bikers.

The trail will open on Friday, June 7th at 4 p.m.
