Popular Abbeville restaurant to close, owner says

ABBEVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The owner of The Village Grill in Abbeville confirmed the restaurant will close after dinner is served on Saturday evening.

Bill Savitz, the owner, said the restaurant is closing as he and his wife are retiring.

He told FOX Carolina that the building is currently up for sale.

Savitz said, “I would like to thank Abbeville and the surrounding community for their support for the last 32 years. I would also like to thank my incredible staff who have stuck beside me to the bitter end.”
