Prisma Health opens new urgent care location in Laurens
LAURENS, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - Prisma Health Urgent Care announced the opening of a new location in Laurens on Monday.
Laurens residents can visit the new Prisma Health Urgent Care center at 913 East Main Street for convenient walk-in treatment of non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries any day from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Officials said the Laurens location brings much-needed access to same-day care for a growing community, helping local residents get convenient care close to home.
The opening comes just in time for cold and flu season, enabling patients to use the advanced Spotfire one-swab testing, which quickly detects multiple respiratory illnesses, including flu, COVID-19 and RSV.
Services offered at the Laurens location include:
- Treatment for minor illnesses and injuries (colds, flu, fevers, sprains, fractures, etc.)
- Spotfire one-swab respiratory testing for flu, COVID-19 and RSV
- Digital X-rays and on-site lab testing
- Occupational health services for local employers
- Online check-in and walk-in availability
