Records show Moriarty was booked into the Myrtle Beach Jail after her arrest. She was granted a $100,000 surety bond following a hearing Sunday morning.

WMBF reported Moriarty expressed regret over the situation during her hearing.

“I’ve had a lot of time to reflect on a very ignorant move,” she said, adding that the weapon was not loaded. “It was an impulsive, very ignorant thing to do; something I totally regret, given the 18 hours that I’ve had to reflect on it.”

She also claimed during the hearing that she’s not a flight risk, and has a full-time job and family in the area.

The judge said there is a concern for public safety and ordered that if released, Moriarty can’t have contact with the two victims.

Public court records show Moriarty posted bail later Sunday.
