Road closure announced ahead of WNC Christmas parade

BUNCOMBE COUNTY, N.C. (FOX Carolina) - The Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office announced a road closure ahead of the Fairview Christmas Parade scheduled on Dec. 13.

Deputies said that US 74A, Charlotte Highway, will be closed in both directions between Sharon and Miller roads beginning at 9:45 a.m. The road is expected to reopen by noon after the parade.

Drivers are urged to choose an alternate route.
