Student charged after bringing BB gun to Upstate middle school, prinicpal says

GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The Principal of Lakeview Middle School in Greenville County said a student is being charged by law enforcement after bringing a BB gun to school on Wednesday.

Principal Towers Rice said no threats were made toward any students or the school, and the gun was immediately confiscated after law enforcement was alerted by the administration.

Rice said the student will be disciplined in accordance with the district’s behavior code as well as being charged.
