White squirrel in western NC makes weather, Super Bowl predictions

BREVARD, N.C. (FOX Carolina) - The White Squirrel Institute said the Pisgah Piper the weather-prognosticating white squirrel in Brevard has spoken!

Piper made her prediction for whether or not we’ll see an early spring and the winner of Super Bowl LX on Monday morning.

According to the institute, Piper predicted a later winter just like Punxsutawney Phil did.

The white squirrel also predicted that the Seattle Seahawks will take home the trophy against the New England Patriots.

“Will Piper be right again,” the institute asked. “Only time will tell but history says to listen to the Brevard’s White Squirrel Ambassador. She is usually right.”
