Maddie Sexton
Good Morning Region 8 Anchor
Jonesboro, Arkansas
Maddie Sexton re-joined K8 News on Good Morning Region 8 in May 2026 as an anchor after working at our sister station in Myrtle Beach, SC.
In 2023, Maddie reported at her hometown station KAIT-K8 News in Jonesboro, Arkansas. From mornings to evenings to weekends, she fronted hard-hitting news, community feel-good stories, and everything in between either live on the scene, in the studio or behind the anchor desk.
Maddie graduated from the University of Arkansas, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism in 2022. Maddie was a member of the Delta Gamma Sorority and participated in UATV News as a weekly reporter and producer in college.
If she isn’t sleeping in, Maddie’s spare time consists of browsing the aisles of Target, watching true crime documentaries, building a Lego set, enjoying a sweet treat or tanning at the beach.
Maddie loves all things storytelling, and she would love to hear yours!
